Frequently Asked Questions

Who makes the clothes sold by Clarify Wearable Textile Art LLC?
All our products are designed and made personally by Claranne in her Hawaii studio. For more information see the About Us page.

Do you use all natural fabrics, yarns, and materials?
While we try to use natural products as much as possible, sometimes we select man-made materials in order to achieve a look, feel, or durability not possible with natural fibers. All item descriptions list all materials used in our products so you will know in advance exactly what you are buying.

Do you offer petite, junior, or plus size apparel? What about clothing for men?
At present all our garments are available only in misses sizes. We are considering adding some men's clothing. If you would like to be notified if it becomes available, please contact us.

How can I be sure that a garment ordered online will fit me?
Unlike clothing off a production line, every item we produce is individually cut and sewn to precise measurements. Our size chart translates your measurements into our sizes. As long as you measuDiagram to measure for handmade clothingre yourself carefully all garments should be the right fit for you. If you are not satisfied with the fit of a garment, you may return it under the terms of our return policy.
Following are instructions to obtain an accurate measurement: Use a cloth tape measure (or other flexible tape measure). Take all measurements while you are wearing only whatever underwear/foundation garments you will wear with the item. The bust measurement is taken around the fullest part of the breasts; be sure to keep the tape straight as it goes across the back. The waist measurement is taken at whatever location between bust and hips is the smallest measurement. Hip measurement is 7" to 9" below the waist, whatever is the largest measurement. Note, this hip measurement may be greater than what you have at your hip joint.
If you have any questions regarding sizing, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Do you accept orders for custom work?
Claranne stays too busy producing her own designs to accept commissions for custom work. Nevertheless, please feel free to contact us with any suggestions you have.

Are you a smoke-free and pet-free facility?
We are smoke free, and cat-friendly.

Do you charge sales tax?
